Here comes the rain again

In fact the weather here us fine. However, I thought I would kill two birds with one stone by avoiding a title which would no doubt echo the heading of every other blog I have posted on 1 November (usually a variant on "its that time of year" or "can you believe that post a blog a day November comes around again" etc.) and choosing a musical theme for my post headings for this years blogging endeavours. So plenty to blog about this year not least the continuing pandemic saga, A's mock A Levels, US Presidential elections and my lockdown beard - something for all the family. Lets see I can maintain momentum (and remember my new password) for the whole month.
